This has been a bug this whole season. Hunter has highest skill ceiling out of any class in PVP. I was doing this all through vanilla Anni with only minimal issues - sometimes combat wouldn’t drop if I was in an AOE ability - but since TBC prepatch came out, I am no longer able to trinket swap. This is like PVP 101 basics for hunter. If you Scatter Shot and then Feign Death into a Freezing trap it incurs a massive Diminishing return that was NOT there in vanilla classic. I’m aware that it can be resisted but the problem is its often not even showing up being used in the combat logs and the scrolling combat text add ons show no resists at all. I say this because at some distance (maybe 30 yards, maybe 40), i have never once had a feign death resist… in thousands of trials.
